  10. As a woman, I have never been interested in women’s sports. Most women (not all) but most who watch men’s sports, watch it FOR THE MEN! Lol and most men (again, not all but most) don’t want to watch women play sports because it makes them masculine and unattractive and they aren’t watching it for the sport. This is why women’s sports arent as popular and therefore why they make far less in amount but like he’s said, far MORE in percentage! 🤷🏻‍♀️

    You want women to get paid more in sports, watch it! Promote it! Advertise it on your social medias! Etc.

They understand but the gap will never be closed with men and politicians supporting men in women’s sports, no advertisement for women’s sports, little support for women’s sports outside of family and college coaches.   31. I’m a woman who played competitive sports through high school. In college the coaches tried to recruit me but I knew I could make more money with my intelligence, plus scholarships weren’t offered to freshmen. It didn’t make sense then, and never has made sense to be a professional athlete.
    I played sports, but I have no interest in watching most female sports.

  40. In soceer, as in most sports, men are so much more fun to watch than women. Men are stronger, quicker, and generally more skilled. That's why so many more people will pay to see men's sports than women's. And I'm a woman.
