Has he, his VP or anyone in congress actualy read the 870+ page bill? I doubt it.
“Biden was bad because he didn’t know what he was signing!”
—Donald Trump
Vetoing, no, not knowing anything about what it actually is, yes.
I’m not sure science has found a number small enough to quantify the chances of Trump vetoing this terrible bill. It reduces his own taxes and gives him one of the largest armies in the world full of almost exclusively like-minded violent racists with which to terrorize our country.
Billionaire tax cuts is the only thing congress carea about.
Thats why it passed and was the only significant legislation passed last time.
TACO 🌮 programme
Trump is a puppet
He’ll still sign it. He’d rather destroy America than cancel his ceremony or admit the bill isn’t beautiful.
0% chance he vetoes this
We could only hope, but reality is he’s going to sign it because it gives Republicans what they perceive to be a win and that’s all they care about.
Why would he care about that?
Hes lying
Trump saving America from Trump by vetoing his own would be epic and the most serious self-own ever!
He can’t fucking read
That’s some next level delusions to think trump would veto the bill over Medicaid cuts
Taco! Taco! Taco!
Unfortunately, trump’s reaction was of pleasant surprise for all the pain this is causing, not disdain for the damage he’s doing to society.
I’m a pleb in Canada. I knew, but he didn’t? C’mon. 😂
He’s not vetoing it. He may (secretly) ask Congress to walk back some of the cuts later (especially if it looks like they’re going to cause too many members to lose seats), but right now he’s going to pretend this is exactly what he wanted
Trump doesn’t care. He will sign it.
His entire life has revolved around bankrupting other people and himself.
Hope TACO holds true here.
Yes he knew. He owns this. He campaigns on excuses.
It won’t matter. You have to have even the slightest hint of empathy to care about people losing Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, etc. He’s shown 1000’s of times now he’s a full blown narcissist who has 0 empathy.
You think that grifting fuck can read?
This encapsulates what Trump is about.
First, whenever confronted with an even remotely challenging question about some inconsistency, lie, internal schism, scandal, or especially a lack of accountability for someone or some problem within his administration, Trump’s go-to move is to feign ignorance.
But when it comes to almost anything else, he is always the “most” informed, the “best” qualified, and so “very” knowledgeable on a particular topic.
In other words, Donald Trump is always conveniently unfamiliar with an issue if it reflects poorly on him, but is well-acquainted with all other subject matter, and especially if it relates to a political issue that he’s yet to drop the ball on.
The same applies to Trump’s personal responsibility in all matters. He often takes credit where credit isn’t due, and brags to the press or his supporters about being responsible for the achievements of others. And sometimes these accomplishments aren’t accomplishments at all.
But on the other hand, when it comes to taking responsibility for his own mistakes, his lies, his corruption and misconduct, even his crimes, he’ll do everything within his power to evade accountability or throw someone else under the bus, even if this person has proven their loyalty to him, because we all know loyalty is a one way street with Trump.
So in these instances we see Trump’s crude evasive tactics on display, and we also see how quick he is to pass the buck, even though the buck always stops with him.
And keep in mind, this isn’t just Trump’s M.O. because his allies and supporters tend to follow by example; typically shifting the blame or scapegoating others for problems that often began with them.
The party of “personal responsibility” can’t seem to take responsibility for a damn thing.
Trump can’t read
So what we really need is for someone to trick him into passing Universal Healthcare by making think it’s his idea and rebranding it “Trump Super Gold Healthcare Plan” the savings are going to be Yuge.
Universal Healthcare would actually save people and businesses billions. The only ones it hurts is the people at the Insurance Companies and I think Mario’s Brother proved that everyone is cool with them suffering a bit.
