Well considering how much they fucked the economy up they cant afford to have any more major hits or limitations to our few industries so it makes sense, and they need all the money they can get for “whatever” theyre using it for. I hate these guys but not as much as I hate people living somewhere else dictating how we should run our shit. Finland is one of the cleanest countries on the planet. Germany is bringing back coal for eff sake. Even their EV law makes no sense and isnt mathematically feasable. Lowering to 1990s emissions is in no way possible without humanity changing technology and as far as Ive seen, anyone that seems to have some sort of break through either gets bought out and shelved or winds up with 2 heart attacks to the back of the head.
They are getting a beating in the numbers so they have to start doing something. This is part of that something.
