Iran’s ambassador to the Holy See has delivered a formal letter to Pope Leo XIV in which he calls on him to take a firm stance against recent US President Trump’s threats and insults directed at Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
The Iranian diplomat has described Trump’s remarks as an affront not only to Shiite Muslims but to the entire Islamic world.
