If Reform get in, it means the party she supports fucked up egregiously. Since she championed them before the last election, it shows her judgement is flawed.
If she has demonstrably flawed judgement, then there’s no reason to listen to anything she has to say.

In a way, I think Reform need to win so the boil can be lanced and then we can actually start to really reform the way we do politics in this country
After his involvement with Brexit, I dont understand how Farage is even in the conversation. The timeline we’re on is so fucked. I remember as a kid, anyone being even remotely connected to organisation’s like Britain First, or thinking Tommy Robinson was anything other than a massive bellend got you you social tarring. Now these people.are.being heralded, even by people from other countries.
Carol is right. However it will take many years to undo the damage caused by an education system that has utterly failed a generation of kids.
Rather than teaching critical thinking skills it has focussed myopically on learning facts alongside stripping funding for the arts.
The higher end schools have been able to teach kids to understand nuance behind facts alongside retaining skills such as debating and public speaking but this is lost on many state kids.
So what we end up with is a generation of people who see themselves objectively in a bad place and cannot understand the myriad reasons why.
So, fed with a steady diet of right wing news othering of anything outside of their own lived experience I think it’s pretty understandable that they will turn to individuals like Farage and Tice who promise jam tomorrow.
Rather depressingly I think we just need to sit back and watch the horror show in the US unfold over the next few years as the BBB kicks in and folks die from lack of healthcare and poverty; and hope ‘progressives’ here find the wherewithal to sing it from the rooftops that this is the UK offering of the exact same thing.
Would everyone just stfu about those losers. You don’t actually have to vote them in, you all know this, right? There are options.

This dumb clown must have been in a coma during the Blair years. How many other Prime Minsters have ended up being worth over £60mn after leaving no.10 ? Cameron & Sunak were already rich before they took office. Johnson is supposedly worth about £5mn to £15mn, May is about the same. Brown is supposedly worth somewhere between £5mn to £15mn.
Only one prime mister had ended having an estimated value 4 to 6 times greater than the average for the rest of the group who were not already rich before office.
And there’s no way that was all earned honestly.

People are happy as along as they antagonise anyone who looks slightly tanned especially the women. LGBTQ+ are a bonus and rhe disabled make a cherry on the top. You try to take away stuff from “British white” men and remove their privilege they will show you what it’s all about.
