  1. As someone from Croatia, this time I can’t even say it’s just the usual bizarre propaganda from Vučić. Sad times.

    For those who don’t know, Thompson is banned from performing in like half of Europe, his most famous song opens with [the equivalent of Sieg Heil](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Za_dom_spremni), then there are clothes with [the coat of arms from the Independent State of Croatia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Independent_State_of_Croatia) which seem to be more common than the one of the country we have today and so much more.

    The songs are all about glorifying war including his most recent hit 30 years after the war and many people can be seen wearing clothes associated with war such as berets. The government attended the private soundcheck yesterday and took pictures with the singer.

    The less you know, the better.

    Long story short a lot of his songs are directed at the Serbs, with a lot of hate. Some of his songs include glorifying Ustashe concentration camps. Even though he denies this, and says his songs are just “patriotic”, that is far from the case.
    Most of the people watching arent ustashe or nazi sympathizers tho, and a lot of people are opposed to this.
    Previously Thompson was banned from organizing concerts in a lot of countries, like the Netherlands and Switzerland due to the nature of his songs.

  9. The worst Nazi are you and your president, who’s not charged for war crimes only because of Angela Merkel clever “balanced politics”.

    While I dislike this guy and he indeed shows some nazi sentiment, Serbian Nazis are notorious for being worse liers that anyone else.

    Therefore, show to the public which his song even mentions Serbs – or apologize to the public for being liar and begone!

  17. I don’t even listen to his music, but the propaganda against him is insane. Like, portraying this as n*** concert… Yet, if you open a live of his concert you can see it’s a normal concert, people singing about love, homeland etc.

    I had grandpa that was national hero for saving civilian Serbians from Ustashe.

    I also have a grandpa that was an SS officer. Killed in Bleiburg from Partisans.

    I can see which one was bad, which one saved people and which one killed people.

    It’s a shame most people attending the concert would celebrate anyone who was a Nazi, like Pavelic, and other killers in the 40s.

    We deserve to be fined by EU for this.

  42. He’s literally on stage right now wearing a shirt with the prison number of a convicted plane hijacker.
    03941158 was the number assigned to Zvonko Bušić, who hijacked a TWA flight in 1976 and planted a real bomb in NY’s Grand Central that killed a police officer.

    Thompson has long glorified him, even wrote a song in his honor, but to show up in 2025, at a public concert, proudly wearing that number like it’s some badge of courage… that’s just absurd :/

    No matter how you frame it, turning a deadly hijacking into nationalist stagewear is just bizarre.
