1. But if you’re a CEO you’ll be fine apparently.

2. learn code is now learn to be handy.

3. Pushing that class system .

4. Blue collar jobs will pay more then….right? Right?

5. They want a permanent underclass of slaves.

6. AI barely functions today. Google uses it to provide a summarized answer to your search and it is incorrect a lot of the time.

7. And it’ll cost twice as much to hire all those workers back once they realize they’ve replaced their entire workforce with a glorified search engine

8. AI isn’t a replacement and he’s going to find out the hard way.

9. In the last few years it has become more and more apparent that our CEO class is delusional.

11. AI will replace jobs the same way excel replaced people. If you’re job is data entry or cpa (copy paste assemble) then you need to upskill. If you’re more analytical or involved with interpreting information than you will still be fine.

12. As someone whose division is actively working on AI solutions (that will obviate the need for at least a half-dozen people), yep. It hits extra hard when your choice is to develop stuff that will put you out of work, or quit and try to find a new job.

13. Can’t wait for nursing home where my father in law is at has some sort of ai chat thing cause man. Residents can talk and talk and talk. Some times in loops about stories

14. Most of these CEOs are simply trying to will this into existence. The reality is AI isn’t nearly efficient or effective enough to replace people at the level these companies would like. Add that to the resource trade or off and the numbers just don’t make the investment accretive. The reality is that AI is absolutely inflating the tech sector with a ton of industries that have made investment in this space that isn’t paying off. When it crashes we’ll all be in for a bad time.

20. This ‘CEO’ is a paranoid fool and idiot.

21. All CEO are over paid. An Ai to replace them all is inevitable. Think of the billions in salaries and perks saved. More importantly Ai doesn’t have any use or need for stock options.

22. The essential economy that everyone talk about pays below living wage to the most part and the jobs that ai is taking over were paid extra high.

23. Don’t worry guys after AI takes your jobs you can just compete for jobs that you let illegal immigrants have instead of Americans

24. As someone who uses AI when coding everyday, its going to be a very long time before AI takes over anyones job. AI is excellent for small simple tasks like cleaning up and documenting code and optimizing functions that have already been written – but anything that involves thinking and planning it can’t do. I imagine its the same for other professions like engineering, accounting and law.
