After the madness that was yesterday’s stage 1, the second
stage of this year’s Tour de France is certain to provide drama of its own. With
209km of racing ahead, the peloton will head to Boulogne-sur-Mer. On paper,
this looks like a day for Mathieu van der Poel and Wout van Aert, with plenty
of short explosive climbs which fit their unique skillset. But, as we saw
yesterday, we can never count out Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard from causing
chaos. Don’t miss any of the action, as we bring you all the updates in this
liveblog.
