in Nice on the Mediterranean coast locals are making the most of the city’s seaside location to keep cool It’s really good It refreshes you and afterwards when you get home you keep that freshness While the water brings relief for beachgoers under the sweltering sun it is warmer than ever before The Mediterranean Sea hit 26.01° 01° C on Monday the highest temperature on record for June according to France’s weather service medals Away from the coast in the southern city of Tulus the thermometer hit 38° on Monday We’ve been at the pool 24/7 the last two days We stayed in the sun but we stayed hydrated and had naps A record 84 of France’s 96 mainland departments have been placed on an orange heat alert this Monday in an unprecedented situation said France’s climate minister 15 are set to be on red alert the highest warning on Tuesday including the French capital which hasn’t seen such an alert since August 2023 Temperatures could reach up to 41° in some places and are expected to drop after Wednesday But there’s no luck for France’s neighbors further south especially in Spain where excessive heat is set to continue into next week

France’s national weather agency placed Paris and 15 other departments on its highest weather alert for Tuesday with temperatures of up to 41 degrees Celsius predicted as a record heatwave grips Europe. Paris and the 15 other departments would move up to the red alert level, a warning last issued in August 2023, due to the severity of temperatures, Meteo France said.

  1. Scientists have done their best to inform the governments and the public of climate change and Global Warming for ever.

    Carbon emission is not going to be eradicated any time soon.

    But there's a viable solution to manage climate change and global warming more effectively, including flooding, drought, heatwaves, and wildlife.

  11. I’m in Vienne, it’s 45 degrees in the sun and still rising, it seems cool in my kitchen at 27 degrees. Too hot to do anything at all outside. We’re on red alert.

  17. If some people don't believe in global warming, don't give them aid (medical, financial, verbal etc) if they get ha^med by the climate change.
