  1. Resilience is not an option, it’s a fact of life for Ukraine

  2. only bad liver can stop the drinking not even blind orcs

  3. The closest thing I can compare this to is the Battle of Britain/blitz during WW2. The whole “keep calm and carry on” mentality of people going about their daily lives, laughing and smiling, sticking it to Mr Hitler that their spirit won’t be broken. Stores would put up signs like barbers saying “never mind the blasted windows, we’re open, try our famous high explosives haircuts, they’re a knockout!” Or cafés “in case of invasion, we shall close for half an hour” And just trying to put a light-hearted spin on what is happening.

Just seeing Ukrainians smile and return to their daily business reminds me so much of the British spirit during the war and it’s heartwarming to see. The resilience of the Ukrainian people shall be remembered for decades; maybe even centuries.

  4. My man was ordering a pint of kvas, which is a non alcoholic refreshment beverage. I wouldn’t get surprised if orcs shelling the place were drunk as per usual tho.

  5. It’s definitely time for a “settle down” beer, a “fuck the Russians” beer, or a “shit that was close” beer.

  6. I hope Putler sees this. it’d really piss him off

  7. The dude is probably a worker there. I doubt the *owner* would be able to keep such a sunny attitude considering the damage inflicted
