Dare Kaurič has won the 44th edition of Melodije morja in sonca with “Kristalno jasno”. The song was written by Dare, with the music composed by Dare and Tilen Majerič. Dare won the contest by a margin of 2 points, with his song being the favourite of the radio jury.

Regen were also awarded the MMS bodočnost (MMS Future Award) and the Danila Kocjančiča Award for the most promising author and performer. Miša Čermak received the MMS Author Award, while Avtomobili received the Legend Award.
