Cillian Murphy hated his ‘Peaky Blinders’ haircut: “I was alarmed by the haircut, but I’m contractually obliged to have it. I’ve gotten more tolerant of it over the years. And it’s become a desirable cut amongst the fashionistas, which is bizarre to me”

Everyone is their own worst critic, he looks fucking fantastic in this show.
That’s a shame. I love the haircut!
He’s correct. It’s horrible.
my barber told me the worst time to be cutting hair besides covid was right after Peaky Blinders came out. guys would ask for it and then get upset that they looked stupid
Yea… except it became called a Fashy cut, and it don’t always mean “fashionable”.
“I was alarmed by the haircut” belongs at the top of some list
It’s the go-to haircut for so many douche turd neo nazi gym bros.
Is this a French Crop?
I’m now ready to restart watching peaky blinders. The haircut annoyed me but if Cillian had to put up with it, so can I.
What bothered me the most is that it wasnt even a haircut any man would have gotten back then.
To be fair the haircut made sense for the character
Yeah it’s fashionable until they actually get it, realise they look a tit and blame the hairdresser for some reason.
That and the broccoli changed the lives of British white males 16-28.
The broccoli cut that 80 % of teenage boys are using is still a million times worse
Come on, this is news? My God it’s a haircut that’s been around for 100 years. Such mind numbing bullshit on here.
I kinda liked it but it looks extremely product dependant so I never gave it a shot. You gotta have the facial structure for it too; I saw more than a few chubby beardless teenagers that gave it a go and looked absolutely tragic IMO. Not for everyone.
I often let the hairstylist just give me something that they want to try to do. About a year and a half ago she was like how about a peaky blinders cut, and I obliged. I actually liked it. It was winter though so I had a beanie on almost all the time, which felt really nice on the shaved sides on my head
Remember it had a run of wild popularity ten year back, during the dying days of the whole stomp-clap-hey music, sleeve tattooed, flannel or suit vest wearing boho men trend
Tbh, I still haven’t watched Peaky Blinders because I couldn’t get past the haircut.
