  1. It’s a concentration camp, let’s start calling it such.

  2. Yep. They’re planning to put little kids in those cages. And pregnant people. Did you see any medical facilities, in any of those horrific PR clips? I saw bunk beds, toilets, and buildings they said were for showers.

No hospital, for when people get sick, or injured by the ICE goons. No facilities for little children, so they’re planning to put them right there in the same cages.

Fuck ICE. Fuck Trump. And fuck Republicans in every forum they dare to raise their fetid voices.

  3. They are going to get children and pregnant women eaten by alligators. On purpose. For real. And then they will refuse to believe that it happened. And if there is video, then they will refuse to believe that it’s not AI. And if they are somehow made to believe it, then they will somehow pretend that it was their own fault. The horrors that they are unleashing will never, ever be forgotten. They are quite literally murdering the United States. This is all anyone will ever remember about us.

  4. They want to fill this place up and wait for a disaster and go “Whoopsie doodles. Act of god, totally not a final solution moment. Anyways.” When thousands die

  5. Part article:
A draft operational plan obtained by the Miami Herald suggests minors could indeed be transported to the controversial site in the Everglades. The 35-page undated document details protocols to “separate minors from unrelated adults” and to provide “snacks and water” to minors, pregnant women and detainees with medical conditions during transport.

“The State of Florida is planning to send pregnant women and children to the ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ detention camp,” wrote State Senator Carlos Guillermo Smith on social media. “This is totally un-American. We cannot be silent.”

Five Democratic lawmakers — Sen. Smith, Sen. Shevrin Jones, Rep. Anna Eskamani, Rep. Michele Rayner, and Rep. Angie Nixon — attempted to visit the site on Thursday but were turned away. “What we’re witnessing isn’t about security or solving problems,” they said in a joint statement, “It’s about inhumane political theater that endangers real people.”

  6. “About 70 camps were established in 1933, in *any convenient structure that could hold prisoners*, including vacant factories, prisons, country estates, schools, workhouses, and castles.”

  7. They keep using the “criminal” excuse to round up innocent people.

Go on the ice social media pages, they advertise as if what they’re doing is good because they apprehending criminals, but they’re only apprehending like 5 criminals a day to the 2,000 innocent people.

  8. You know you don’t suddenly go all “decent human being” when you open a concentration camp, right?

Florida’s balls deep in this now. It will stick to them for the rest of history (version not being recorded by Nazi America).

  9. Knowing the record with kids of right-wingers and these incel goons, I have another concern for them I don’t want to think about.

  10. Of course, the lawmakers are Democrats. Republicans meanwhile want these people to suffer.

  11. It’s. Fascism.

The goal is to hurt people.

Political parties, have policy to help.

    They’re no longer pretending.

People who voted for this, own this.

  12. Did anyone think there wasn’t going to be kids at this concentration camp?

  13. Who do you think their going to send? ICE isn’t going after gangs or drug dealers. They’re snatching random families and old folks off the street. It’s not about safety or justice it is for show, a cruel spectacular meant to terrorize the general public.

  14. Unless everyone there are convicted and sentenced to prison, which is very unlikely, it’s not a legitimate prison, it’s an interment camp.

  15. Silence when building it, alarm when they realize what it’s for. Fucking cowards.

  16. Republicans: we’ve never met a brown person we don’t want to abuse

  17. Are you speedruning Auschwitz?

    Really?

I mean, even the Nazis tried to keep it away from the spotlight at first…

  18. Jeez even El Salvador draws the line on taking women and children. What kind of despots do we have here in this country. This is like Saddam Hussein level shit.

  19. Pregnant women and children; you know, the worst of the worst vicious criminals.

  20. This whole thing baffles me. We already demonstrated that we can’t deport these folks. The planes were getting turned around. We started outsourcing detainment to third world countries. Now we’re taking tax paying documented and undocumented working folks and sticking them in a tent city to become wards of the state at a cost to the tax payer. Why would fiscal conservatives approve of this? Those pregnant women and children were being provided for at little to no cost to the tax payer. How much annually will it cost to house these folks in detainment?

The argument of morality won’t sway our republican counterparts. We need to start talking dollars because that’s all they care about. What is the average tax revenue of a migrant worker and what is the total cost of detainment, including this new enforcement initiative. Also, what about the loss of GDP in businesses like construction, farming, and roofing that are dominated by this labor group?

  21. Alligator Auschwitz!

Call it what it is; this isn’t a prison for convicted felons, it’s a concentration camp for individuals the government wants disposed of.

  22. I’m biased but think sending men to concentration camps is also wrong.

  23. Now loOk, they only have a budget of $150 billion, how could you expect them to accommodate the needs of women and children?

That money is needed for things like stealth helicopters and bounty hunter payments.

  24. This headline is misleading! The democrats lawmakers are alarmed the republican lawmakers are all for this

  25. Republican lawmakers should sound an alarm. When have they ever displayed a concern for women and children. They believe women are no more than a vessel and children should starve, work in factories, never educate with girls marrying old men at 13. They would be quite happy with America as a third world country

  26. I mean yes we should be sounding alarms over that but we shouldn’t be sending **anyone** to a concentration camps.

  27. Everyone else has been sounding the alarm this entire time. Can the media just start calling them a fascist regime?

  28. It’s in a hurricane zone that constantly floods. They won’t need to get their hands dirty. They’ll just lock the cages, sit back, and let Mother Nature do their dirty work. When thousands die from mosquito borne illnesses or natural disasters, they’ll say, “How could we know this would happen!?!” And in an attempt to absolve themselves of any guilt or tiny pricks at their conscience, their supporters will wholeheartedly agree and volunteer to rebuild.

  29. Do any of these people know how alarms are supposed to work for fucks sake?

Alarms are supposed to be activated at the first sign of a problem. When you see the emergency for the first time.

Saying this now is like the difference between being the first person to notice that the house is fully engulfed in flames and then calling the alarm

    .. vs….

Standing there, watching the smoke start, then the flames spread, then the roof fall in before _then_ finally calling the alarm.

It’s not like we didn’t see all of this shit coming a mile away. Making it sound like we should suddenly be alarmed is just fucking stupid.

    ….and way fucking late.

  30. The Holocaust started as a mass deportation effort.

  31. I’m not visiting the US ever again. I won’t even transit through an airport.

  32. If the woman loses the baby, that would be an abortion, the GoP hate abortions… so then what?

  33. I’m going to lay this out now.

The next step will be to declare the extraterritoriality of these camps, making them non-US territory and exempt from all US law.

And making anyone born there not US citizens.

Mark my words on this, as it’s one of the things Nazi Germany did when setting up the concentration camps.

  34. Alligator Aushwitz is a concentration camp. Of course Republicans will torture pregnant women and small children, it’s in their playbook

  35. Fascist government plans to send vulnerable populations to concentration camps.

    Fixed the headline for you.

  36. Everyday I feel more and more unsafe living here.

  37. You are living in a fascist, authoritarian society surrounded by masked nazis who are running around abducting people in unmarked vehicles.

They are also refusing to identify themself or provide a proper warrant while they drag away anyone who they consider a threat to the whitest, richest population of the USA.

    Act accordingly America.

  38. Alligator *Auschwitz.*

Inmates at Alcatraz had due process.
