I find it funny how this sort of thing keeps being the go to topic of discussion when there are more serious issues that we should be discussing. Everyone keeps arguing about “identity” politics and whether or not a foreigner is more likely to commit crimes or not (I’d say about the same likelihood as any other human being but whatever) and how big of a problem it is that little John is now little Mary when issues like housing, health, effectiveness of emergency services ( 45 mins average time for an ambulance call out?? Really?) just don’t get talked about because really the priority is a contest of who’s more racist or bigoted.. but that’s just my two cents. Rant over, carry on.
