I know, right? I think the house ghost was just trying out for the new ‘Stranger Things’ remake. Can we get that as a bonus feature on our Netflix subscription?
Dalquharran Castle, it’s not even the spookiest castle in the area. I used to live in Dailly very close by. The ‘Old Castle’ in the woods has a legend about the devil collapsing it’s walls. I used to walk there with my dogs late at night and it was FULL of bats. There were even wiccan rituals around it (candles, yarn the whole thing). There’s a great book about the area Dailly: A South Ayrshire Parish full of legends (like the coal mine disaster where a mine caught fire and collapsed; the rents in the ground where smoke escaped were used to conceal illicit stills).
Used to go out to it when I was younger. There was 1 bit that used to get really cold whenever you were in it compared to the rest of the place
You should try St Peter’s seminary, that felt way more eerie
Just a lurker with family heritage in Glasgow. Are there any government programs to save or repurpose these old castles? Is there much public interest in doing so?

Don’t give too much away.
Brave enough to climb the stairs?
