Laten we eerlijk zijn: veel werken in België liggen zelfs zonder Officiële stillegging ook al stil: in mijn plaatselijk dorp hebben ze een Doorgangsstraat al een jaar! Afgesloten zonder iets te doen, 2 maanden geleden hebben ze nog een bordje 🪧’asfalt droogt’ geplaatst, en theoretisch klopt dat natuurlijk na elke regenbui, maar verder doen ze nog steeds niets 🤦🏻♂️

How about you follow the actual law and properly handle the pollution rather than dumping it under the carpet. Then there wouldn’t have been an issue. This is not exactly some neighbour complaining about NIMBY.
The more BDW talks, the more I start to despise him. It’s insane how much he’s changed once he got some power.
A massive infrastructure project with zero budget set aside for the external issues, like the polluted soil its being built on top of, public transport, cycling infra or proper maintenance. I’ll bet some of the measures currently promised to push the project through will end up scrapped because there’s no money. And I’ll bet it won’t be the car parts either.
What would the comments be if oosterweel was being built by a PS government, in a PS stronghold in wallonia.
The Flemish Government should have followed their own rules. The delay of Oosterweel is their fault.
