What’s the saying? Like mother, like daughter. Or is it the other way around? It is when you’re Carole and Kate Middleton. The Middleton matriarch enjoyed an afternoon at Wimbledon today, and for the prestigious occasion, she took a page out of her stylish royal daughter’s book.

Carole and her husband, Michael Middleton, returned to the tournament, catching a match at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. The couple have made a tradition out of the sporting event, attending most years, just as the Princess of Wales does.
The 70-year-old served quite a sartorial ace in a brown-and-white striped mididress from Beulah London. The frock featured long sleeves, a crisp collar, a button-up construction, a drop waist, and an A-line skirt. Carole paired the centerpiece with strappy taupe-colored sandals, a white leather Osprey handbag purse, and oversize black cat-eye sunglasses.

As for beauty, the mom styled her chestnut-colored bob in a flippy blowout with a deep side part. She glammed up with minimal makeup, opting for eyeliner, rosy cheeks, and a peach-colored lip.
Michael looked dapper beside her in cream-colored trousers, a periwinkle blue button-down shirt, a patterned blue tie, an off-white suit jacket, a brown leather belt, and matching suede dress shoes. He combed his salt-and-pepper hair back.

Carole’s outing comes just days after Kate made a surprise appearance at Colchester Hospital in Essex to see the RHS Wellbeing Garden. For her casual outing, the princess wore—you guessed it—brown-and-white stripes. Kate’s came in the form of a smart button-down shirt, which she left slightly undone at the top and with cuffed sleeves.
Kate layered the top under a brown-and-white striped linen blazer and paired it all with high-waisted brown trousers, a brown leather belt, and white sneakers. A dainty gold charm necklace, small cuff earrings, a gold watch, and her sapphire engagement ring made for the final accents.
