The Independence Rally in Hollister has concluded, with city leaders and local businesses celebrating its success after a weekend of revving engines and crowded streets.Cosmo’s Bar and Grill experienced a bustling weekend during the bike rally, with Karla Lobos noting, “A lot of customers, a lot of bikers thanks for everyone coming out.” Despite being overwhelmed with customers, the team enjoyed the experience. Lobos observed, “I noticed the people on Friday, they just come in and enjoy food and drink, on Saturday, people were having a party time.” The weekend resulted in their best sales yet, reaching $13,000, and they hope the city will continue hosting similar events to maintain the momentum. “Continue because I know it’s good for the city, for everybody having a good time with family, and if it keeps going the same way, it’s going to work for everybody,” Lobos said.Paulina Gonzalez, with La Catrina Mexican Grill, said, “This Saturday was one of the best years in all these 11 years we’ve been open.”Gonzalez expressed hope that other events like the rally will continue to boost profits, sharing, “I got a few comments from my team members and they were saying that it was a great day not only because they earned tips but also because it was fun, time goes by faster they have a great experience, good vibes.”City leaders hailed the rally as a major success for Hollister.
