Just for reference, there have only been about 100 whole life sentences given since it started. It’s the strictest sentence that can be given in the UK IIRC.
Very good. Murders of politicians in office, whether by IS or right wing or whatever other terrorists, should be completely unacceptable and not a part of the political culture in the civilized country like the UK.
Being only 26, he is looking at 50-60 years in jail, maybe even longer.

If only other murderers were given similar appropriate sentences. I guess their victims’ lives dont matter as much.
Not sure there was ever any doubt that he’d receive a full life sentence. I don’t think that, according to sentencing guidelines, the judge could impose any other sentence.
