  3. Cochlear implants are fucking incredible.

    An outside reciever to capture sound, this then activates a device implanted subdermally on the head behind the ear which transmits signals directly to the nerves of the inner ear. Bypassing most of the systems of hearing, the last thing you can possibly work before we have to get real scifi and start prodding brain signals.

  4. The human technology is really impressive to watch as it progresses each year. Good for the man.
