  1. Well we know he’s not gonna quit so that narrows things down quite nicely.

  2. It is not only the man that needs to “die or quit”. It is the whole putinism, which can go far beyond his live … or stop in a whenever some oligarchs decide to.

  3. Russian history major here, turns out Russia has always been led by unusually bad genocidal expansionist totalitarian nuts and probably always will be. No nation has been quite as consistent in that regard for hundreds of years other than perhaps China. Both places have ruthlessly pruned decent and/or democratic people for centuries. That has costs.

  4. “hasta la victoria siempre” slava ukraini🇺🇦🇵🇹

  5. Quits? Not gonna happen. Maybe he’ll be removed by those closest to him but he’ll not quit, he knows that in this caricature of a country is a death sentence.

  6. That’s exactly what I been saying. The second you smoke his ass, they’ll be eating eatchother to replace him.

  7. This felt right like 3 years ago. But the prolonged war has now shown the rest of Russia is complicit in Putins goals (else they’d have removed him by now).

I fear the only end to a war in Ukraine will be the end to Russias ability to wage war.

That or the Ordinary Russian Citizens taking Putin out themselves and apologising to their neighbour.

  8. Sad to say, but I don’t think either of those choices will make much difference.
The only way I see peace – true peace – is for a complete smack down of ruZZia and the gutting of their leadership. Who would all be in prison.
At least then ruZZia would be so busy trying to get its crap together that international inspectors and oversight would be necessary for the nukes, which would be removed from the country.
After that, well, they got nothing to rattle anymore and would stop picking fights for decades. Centuries maybe.

  9. Zelenskyy, even though he’s in quite a bit of danger, will very probably have a life beyond his presidency. Putin does not. Putin will never be able to retire, as his system does not allow for it. His successor would never be safe and secure while Putin’s alive. Putin’s presidency and life are linked. He does not have one without the other. That’s the price of being a dictator and maintaining power by violence.
