Prior to today, Germany had conceded the opening goal in just one of their previous 14 games at the Euros, the 2022 final against England.
This is just the fourth time Germany have trailed at half time at the Euros, losing to Denmark in the 1993 third-place match (1-3) and Norway in the 2013 group stages (0-1), while winning against Norway in the 2009 semi-finals (3-1).
