Trump’s energy secretary warns of 100-fold increase in power outages by 2030, as the administration deliberately kneecaps the fastest growing, lowest cost and quickest to build energy sources. Then blames Biden and renewable energy. You can’t make this up.

A bunch of morons destroying our country to make themselves look good on Fox News.
You actually can make it up, if you’re Trump, and half of the voting public with happily lap it up.
Utilities: we need a stable regulatory environment for generators to develop projects to meet rising demand and allow us to retire legacy facilities. We also need investments and help to get more transmission lines built to the places in the country with the best wind and solar resources to help meet the demand at a lower long term cost.
Private power developers: we need a stable regulatory environment so we can make long term decisions about what type of generation to develop to sell to the grid.
Equipment manufacturers: we need a stable regulatory environment so we can be confident in our choices to build up the production of the parts and equipment needed for these projects.
Grid researchers: yikes! We need micro-grids, investments in inertia generating equipment for IBRs, and HV transmission lines built TOMORROW or things could get ugly.
The Trump Administration: **unintelligible screeching and throwing things about the room**

Guess we need more coal, because wind power is being banned for “reasons”
*None of that inexpensive solar either – which would be perfect for data centers that you can build literally anywhere.
I think you mean to say “*You can’t make this shit up.*”
Lowest cost to whom?
He only picks the lowest IQ grifters
Why don’t the blue states go all in on solar and wind and then when they lower everyone’s electric bills they can go nah nah nah. I mean even Texas has wind turbines in their oil fields.
Here is the statement :
“The US Department of Energy (DoE) has released a report warning that blackouts could rise by a factor of 100 by 2030 if the US continues to close down reliable power sources without adding sufficient firm capacity.”
Solar is not a reliable power source nor does it provide firm capacity. Same goes for wind. This is an obvious statement.
When you have an extremely gullible constituency, you can do anything and blame it on anyone and they’ll believer it.
