Meanwhile, Sex Matters are threatening to sue the Scottish Government for not rolling out their wee fantasy of “separate but equal” shite. Because nothing screams equality like rebranding apartheid for public loos. But folk are waking up now. The TERF (or as they prefer, GERM) movement is starting to look exactly like what it is: a coven of privileged over-50s who’ve turned bigotry into a hobby. They've swapped bridge club for bile and afternoon tea for targeted hate.
And here’s the real question: if they’re that uncomfortable, why can’t they use a special toilet? There’s nothing in the law stopping them from getting their own. Slap a sign on it“ANTI-TRANS ONLY – MIND THE GAP IN HUMAN DECENCY”and let the rest of us piss in peace. In fact, the law makes it illegal to blanket-ban trans folk from using toilets. So if someone needs a private cry about other people’s genitals, maybe legally they should take it to a designated toilet, and let everyone else get on with not being obsessed with people's genitals while they pee.
Cheaper. Easier. Cleaner. And no need to police who’s got what in their knickers.

It’s so weird to have to know so much about something that absolutely doesn’t affect any part of my life, never met anyone affected by it and have absolutely zero fucks left to give on any of it.
See, I think women’s safety is important- and I think everyone does (or should). And if there was evidence that Trans Women presented an increased risk to overall women’s safety when they share bathrooms, I could almost understand it. But I’ve yet to see any evidence that that is the case.
Thus, I can only assume the TERFs base their protests not on a genuine concern for the safety of women, but just on an ideological aversion to Trans people.
People are sick of hearing about who wants to fuck who and so called rights they don’t have… it’s boring and people have bigger issues. Moaning about using specific pissers isn’t going to gain much support when half the countries on its knees

The universal stance of trans people to JKR’s wee victory for hate in court down in England has been to continue to pee where it makes sense.
So… as someone that is BETWEEN the sexes, can you tell me for 100% certainty what my biological sex is for purposes of the equality act.

Facism and facism adjacent ideologies require an underclass of oppressed target groups to demonize as an enemy in order to stoke fear and hatred (suppresses rational thought to make people obedient), and distract from the real reason people’s quality of life and civil rights are curtailed (transfer of power and resources from citizens to the elites).
Trans, gay, immigrants, jews, racial minorities, the disabled, academic experts, ‘degenerate’ artists etc etc.
Any time the state or the media make a mountain out of a particular minority molehill, it’s an attempt to distract from things which have a much larger impact on your life and rights.

Many women feel that trans women being women majorly steps on their toes, from feeling unsafe in toilets and changing rooms, through to feeling that it is totally unfair that a trans woman should freely compete in women’s sports.
That’s not about hate, that’s a reasonable view point. If you can’t see that, then, perhaps you are the one filled with hate?
