President Donald Trump has ordered the resumption of U.S. weapons shipments to Ukraine after being caught “flat-footed” by a Pentagon decision to pause deliveries of key munitions, three people familiar with the internal discussions told the Associated Press.

The move blindsided the White House and reportedly frustrated the president, the sources told the AP.

Last week, the Pentagon announced it would temporarily withhold shipments of Patriot missiles, precision-guided GMLRS rockets, Hellfire missiles, Howitzer rounds, and other defensive aid due to concerns over diminishing U.S. stockpiles. The pause came at a particularly vulnerable time for Ukraine, which is facing intensified air assaults by Russia in the war’s fourth year.

  2. there are so many working for Putin in the US right now that they can t even coordinate their treasons

  3. This is just spin. The order definitely came from Trump himself. Can you imagine his social media rage if it wasn’t? We would hear him rage about it for weeks. Instead: vague denial and “we have to keep supplying them with *defensive weapons* bc they’re hit hard”. It’s so obvious that he’s doing all he can to help his buddy Putin.

  4. The backlash blindsided the White House, especially given revelations that continued aid wasn’t greatly affecting weapons stocks.

The Trump regime is mirroring the Putin regime.

Anything bad or negative can never be the supreme leader’s fault because they are infallible. Instead, a “boyar” takes the fall (figuratively in the US / both figuratively and literally in Russia).

  5. This is what happens when your president:

    1: Has dementia
2: Doesn’t read daily briefs because he’s forgotten how to read.

  6. Ol ‘Bone Spurs’ got caught flat footed?

    Of course he did…

  7. First, he had bone spurs. NOW he’s “flat-footed?”

    I pray for his sole.

  8. This is the pattern. Create havoc with a policy. Back off of the policy and claim to be a hero for solving the problem.
Added bonus if you have a scapegoat

  9. Funny how the supposed incompetence never works the other way with one of Trump’s goons accidentally sending twice as many shells or weapons to Ukraine, huh? It’s always someone cutting it off. I’m guessing they will be trying out these stunts every couple of months, observe how much backlash they receive, and if it’s too hot they’ll say that the tsar “had no idea” and it was the dumb boyars going behind his back
