Royal watchers were quick to notice that young Wolfie looked the spitting image of his father, Edo Mapelli Mozzi, in the fun new photos. Earlier this year, Edo announced that he was expecting another child with his wife, Princess Beatrice. It means their blended family will be ready to welcome a new member in Spring next year, with Wolfie gaining a new sibling alongside Edo and Beatrice’s first child together, Sienna.
Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, issued a moving message to her oldest daughter when the news was announced. ‘A very proud GiGi/Mum today,’ she wrote. ‘Such an incredible blessing and an embrace to my heart. Wolfie, August, Ernie and Sienna will be over the moon to have the fifth member of the five aside!’
Dara Huang, Mozzi and Princess Beatrice co-parent Wolfie, in an arrangement that Huang herself described as ‘easy’ in a recent interview. ‘Wolfie has had two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides, and I just think: ‘‘The more, the merrier”. I feel lucky to have such positive people around him, who really embrace him,’ she told Harper’s Bazaar. Beatrice appears to have taken well to the role of stepmother, and has brought Wolfie to various events with the Royal Family, including the Princess of Wales’ carol service last December, at which the seven-year-old was pictured holding her hand.
