Germany was naive and made a BIG mistake by getting too dependent on ruscist oil and gas. They are now pressured by their own people so let them sort it out. Don’t let ruscist and chinese bots to split Europe. We need to help Germany to find other energy sources and stop blaming them. Blaming will only split Europe, that is the goal of ruscist and jinping regimes. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦
Unfortunately we let them be so dependent of Russian gas… That’s too difficult now.
I think right now it’s rather the French elections which are delaying an oil ban.
Germany is just weighing all their options, and they are correct in doing so. Draghi and the Italian government are changing their tune in their public declarations, but you can bet that Italy’s plan will just be to swap a dependency from Russia with one from Algeria, and very little will be done with renewables. Germany will rightfully want to have a better plan, which takes time.
Easy to say from him though, we don’t have many gaz plants and don’t rely much on Russia.
