The European Central Bank’s vice President Luis de Guindos said on Wednesday he hoped the euro’s exchange rate will stabilise and that it won’t hurt economic growth any further.
“It’s important to take it into account, monitor it without setting any kind of reference level,” de Guindos told an event in Spain. “But well, let’s hope it will stabilise somewhat and that it won’t have any further negative impact from the point of view of … economic growth.”
