Far-right activist Laura Loomer has one demand for Vice President JD Vance: Convince President Donald Trump to fire Attorney General Pam Bondi.
In a flurry of social media posts on Tuesday, Loomer took aim at Bondi after the FBI and the Department of Justice concluded that there is no evidence pointing to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein keeping a “client list,” blackmailing public figures or being murdered in prison in 2019.
The new memo, which was released on Monday and first reported by Axios, has been met with outrage and speculation by MAGA loyalists and conspiracy theorists, as many have pushed the Trump administration to release all documents related to the sex-trafficking case. Bondi has become one of their main targets, after promising big revelations for months. She previously told Fox News in February that Epstein’s list was “sitting on my desk right now to review” under the president’s directive.
Loomer called attention to Bondi’s previous role as Florida’s attorney general — a position that she held from 2011 to 2019 — and claimed that Epstein’s “child sex crimes were wiped under the rug.” Epstein was arrested on sex-trafficking charges stemming from allegations dating to the early 2000s, and investigators have concluded that he committed suicide in his cell at a federal jail in New York City in 2019.
“How come we can’t talk about what a dumb lying bimbo Pam Blondi is?” Loomer asked on X, misspelling her last name.
“@JDVance, please encourage President Trump to fire Pam Blondi. She is a disgrace,” she continued.
In a separate post, Loomer called Bondi “incompetent,” writing that she “botched the Epstein case.”
Loomer was referencing a Florida investigation into Epstein’s abuse of dozens of underage girls at his Palm Beach mansion beginning in 1996. Although the case was closed in 2008, the Miami Herald uncovered evidence that suggested that Epstein and his attorneys may have engaged in undue influence over the state attorney. Loomer went on to ask, “How come Blondi’s FL AG office did not pursue legal action or launch an investigation into Epstein’s activities in Florida during that period when she was AG in FL?”
“She is afraid of that being discussed and brought to light. She needs to be fired. She has tainted the investigation,” Loomer added, without citing evidence.
During a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Bondi was put on the spot to address the new findings, after Trump lashed out at the reporter who asked about the memo. She attempted to clarify her previous remarks on Fox News.
“In February, I did an interview on Fox that is getting a lot of attention because I was asked a question about the client list,” Bondi said. “And my response was, ‘It is sitting on my desk to be reviewed,’ meaning the files, along with the JFK, MLK files as well. That is what I meant by that.”
Trump had first interrupted and asked the reporter, “Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? This guy’s been talked about for years… Are people still talking about this guy, this creep? That is unbelievable.”
Since the release of the memo, several Trump administration officials have come under scrutiny, including Vance, who had previously pushed for the “client list” to be released in recent years. FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino have also faced criticism, despite Trump praising the pair for going “back to basics” in a post on his Truth Social platform on Monday.
Meanwhile, the memo indicated that no one else involved in the Epstein case would be charged. Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend and a British socialite, was separately charged and sentenced to a 20-year prison sentence in 2022 for helping Epstein sexually abuse underage girls.
