Would be more interesting if it was both codes. No way are Donny Knights “better” than Leeds, Bradford, Cas, Wakey, Fev, Huddersfield, Both Hull teams etc.
It slightly annoys me that Sheffield, Sale, and Stourbridge’s rugby clubs aren’t even located in the same county as the town they’re named after.

Sale Sharks are in Greater Manchester (south Manchester) not Lancashire.
Sale is historically Cheshire, I presume this is based on where they play their home games rather than the club’s “home”?

Sale Sharks aren’t Lancs, they’re Salford. Even if they were still in Sale, they’d be in Greater Manchester, not Cheshire.
Well it’s not exactly proper rugby is it…..more toff rugby.
