๐ค Personal Experience:
As someone who personally lived in Ukraine and had a couple Palestinian colleagues. Additionally a couple of my friends from Russia have immigrated to Israel after the Russo-Ukrainan War.
๐ข Statistics:
According to a bunch of sources: The Palestinian population is larger in Ukraine than in Russia. ๐ต๐ธ๐บ๐ฆ
Estimates:
๐บ๐ฆ Ukraine: Approximately 5,000โ6,000 Palestinians (pre-2022 war)
๐ท๐บ Russia: Estimates range between 2,000โ4,000
However there seems to be a rather more sympathy towards the Israeli side according to the databases.

my impression has been that the US is welded to Israel at the hip in a suicide pact, willing to destroy the international order they’ve built up for fifty years if necessary to support Israel to the bitter end
Ukraine desperately needs western support.
Criticizing the United State’s support for Israel will make things more inconvenient for US politicians, who in turn, will be less disposed to assist Ukraine.
Therefore, Ukraine is pro Israel.
I’d add more; Israel and Palestine is a pretty close 1:1 to Russia and Ukraine. But Ukraine is fighting for their fucking lives, man, and Palestine really doesn’t offer much. Sure, they don’t deserve to get exterminated because they don’t offer much, but Israel is high tech, has a robust defense and security industrial complexes, access to top notch US tech, is a primary competitor for things like AD missiles but also a independent producer of AD missiles, jamming technology, etc etc. There are material benefits (or potential material benefits, at least) to staying buddy-buddy with Israel.
One of the likely outcomes is a frozen conflict at the end, a permanent militarized border a la Koreas, or Israel. That, too, is a reason to be interested in Israel’s security industrial complex.
A large part of Israelโs population emigrated from Ukraine. Many Jews live at least part of the year in Ukraine because many of their prominent rabbis came from there-the Lubavitch, for example. Ukraineโs history is very intertwined with Jewish history in Eastern Europe.ย
