Tory MP: Partygate fines ‘a bit harsh’ on Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak Tags:United Kingdom 8 comments ‘a bit harsh’… what world does this idiot live in? Consequences should only be for plebs says Tory MP. Welcome to the Shitty uplands. Didn’t they only get fined £50? Compared to the thousands the peasantry were charged for the same crime? Is the tory attitude that any repercussions at all are too much for the party nomenklatura? Should have been ten grand apiece. Then they could complain about ‘harsh’. Let them appeal. PLEASE let them appeal! (Because if they do, and the fines are upheld, it’s a criminal matter, I believe!) To be fair that £50 quid fine is really going to sting Sunak. If they do the crime they pay the fine *cough* with tax payers money 🤫 *cough* Pretty sure the two bottles of wine and cheese cost more than the fine.
