Hello everyone, I am trying to book an apartment in Munich from [wunderflats.com](https://wunderflats.com), and some apartments have said *”Change of letterbox and doorbell labels is not possible”*, but *”Landlord’s confirmation of residence (Wohnungsgeberbestätigung)”* is possible.
I wanted to understand are there any legal issues I might run into later if I don’t have the Letterbox and doorbells in my name? I intend to register in the city *”Anmeldung”* and expect to receive post or mail. But this confuses me. Since I see a lot of apartments with the same statement, *”Change of letterbox and doorbell labels is not possible”*. Finding an apartment in Munich is already hard within a budget. I would be pleased if you can help me with this.

Well, it will be on you to make sure that letters and parcels will arrive you despite not having a name on the bell and letter box. If you don’t take care of that you will eventually get in trouble simply because of things you missed by not receiving mail
How are you meant any letter without your name on the letter box? Official letters. From your insurance? Invoices? Court summons? This will be a problem sooner or later.
