Ireland needs to ‘grow up’ over stigma towards hemp industry

  1. That would require our lawmakers to grow a spine and a brain and our police forces to give up on using hemp seizures to pad their numbers. Ireland simply lacks maturity to address this issue

  2. I would also like weed/hemp legalised but I also want cbd sellers to be honest about their claims. Some of them are snake oil salesmen.

  3. they’re clamping down on it because they’re being paid to. Its all going to be legal at some stage but the big boys from canada/america are paying the right people now to shut down local producers.

  4. There is no stigma over hemp; I doubt there ever really was. It is just a casualty of the criminalisation of marijuana. And that won’t likely change until the UK decriminalise as well, nomatter how much ‘growing up’ we do.

  5. Just got back from DC. It’s legalised there. Seems to be a popular decision because it smelled of the stuff literally everywhere.

  6. At this point its just the government that needs to grow up.

Aren’t we at a point now where the health service are saying its a legal matter and the judiciary are saying its a health matter meanwhile there’s nothing stopping them from changing the law over night.
