As a migrant myself, I’ll just double it and pass it onto the next one
It has worked for a long time.
Over 20 years in the European Parlament doing fuckall, and a lifetime full pension paid for by the EU.
Farage will be our next PM.
Is this a meme? Or are we just reposting posts from other subs now?
That’s ridiculous because it says “blame a migrant”, it’s just taking advantage of the fact that some people don’t understand the difference between terminology. I’m sure we are all aware that migrants who come to work and integrate aren’t the issue lol, it’s the illegal immigrants and people who take advantage of the system and those who don’t work, respect or integrate with our society.
Ah but there’s the problem: the so called “poor choices” were not always conscious ones.
If we take a presumption that a country like India is proactively investing into training up its workforce to be highly skilled in the tech sector, then they will have a competitive advantage baked into their workforce.
By contrast, in Britain, if you went to school and weren’t really pushed to specialise into anything in particular, you may have left education without anywhere near the level of targeted focus that other countries have been giving.
It’s a byproduct of global inequality that poorer countries will double down on making their workforce really attractive for particular things (be it manufacturing or IT or nursing or building for example). These specialisms are very attractive to employers around the world because they get a certain level of consistency and because these people are usuallly cheaper to employ, even if they move onshore.
The issue really is that the British workforce isn’t as attractive because it is more of a ‘leisure class’ in the global scope of things – but not everyone in Britain has the finances and skill set to be that. If you’re poorer and weren’t guided by education and family into competing with the offshore workforces, you’re pretty stuffed when your government doesn’t put any barriers up to limit that competition.
It is not really the fault of the individual here. The government’s policy has neither focused on protecting people from competition nor on upskillong them for a competitive world – so the worst of both worlds.
The big push to get 50% to university was New Labour’s effort to solve this – by putting more kids into the leisure class. But it simply didn’t work for the people who weren’t academic at school and those couldn’t get a degree with actual real world desirable skills in it. It also ignored that there are some significant structural/long term issues with the idea of relying so heavily on imported labour for a lot of jobs like farmhands, sandwich factories, trades and care homes etc.
So problems like child grooming gangs are a result of the people who notice the perpetrators? Not the diddlers themselves?
Migration is a very positive aspect of a civilised society. The UK has greatly benefited from it and will continue to do so.
A thousands of undocumented young men illegally entering the country at the tax payers expense isn’t.
They think they can come to the UK for free housing and money. Being opposed to that doesn’t make you a racist or a bigot.
Yes of the one million net migrants who came here last year they’re all doctors and nurses..
It’s not a meme
Wow. So all migrants ARE doctors after all!!!
Tell me you’re a WEF AI chat bot without telling your a WEF AI chat bot
Don’t like the intent of that. The issue that immigrants will accept poorer working conditions and lower pay is an issue of our modern approach to capitalism and destroyed unions. Not to mention dying education system.
We should be fighting for better pay and jobs not fighting immigration. But the ultra rich want us to look the other way.
This is why Trump won in america. Tell people they’re bad for their political beliefs and they will just double down.
No. Stop listening to James O’Brien.
Over 1,690,000 foreign nationals are unemployed, that’s a detriment, not a net positive.
39.5% of working-age Londoners with Pakistani/Bangladeshi backgrounds are not working – more than any other group shown here. Black Londoners have the second highest proportion (36.9%). White people have the lowest rate of being out of work (20.7%) followed by people of Indian background at 21.5%.
London
53% of stabbings are committed by black men; who represent less than 10% of the population.
Immigration is a good thing, in controlled numbers. There is a legitimate concern over certain demographics who are disproportionately committing violent/sexual crime per capita.
Some demographics just aren’t compatible with Anglo society.
Good one. Now do a labour one 🙄
Well atleast my old brother-in-law can agree with Reform UK on this one.
Hmmm or the person with the issue hasn’t lived a totally sheltered life and has experienced first hand what effects it can have. Go figure.
This poster is equally as bad as blaming the migrants imho. We should totally blame the people on top. The political and financial elite that benefits from people fighting each other. Let’s fight the good fight for once.
Such bullshit. Op must be a cuck for Keir
Man this poster is lame
How about take about the actual issue and what the people in the street and votes want
Reform supporters can’t handle how accurate this is
Migration of skilled professionals like those pictured fine. Undocumented young men illegally entering the country with their ‘cultural baggage’ not fine. Pretty clear and obvious really
“failed at life” lets our broken system and corrupt politicians off the hook. Our problems aren’t down to immigrants but shaming people as failures in an increasingly unfair system isn’t right either
None of the people pictured are migrants, this poster is a weird leap. Migrants differ from immigrants in that they have not followed the legal immigration process.
I can say with some confidence that there are no migrant medical professionals practicing legally in the UK.
I agree that ‘migrant’ is a term used to describe an ‘immigrant’, but within modern UK parlance it is used to differentiate between legal and illegal.
And yes, the inflationary effects of having lots of illegal immigrants is genuinely damaging to everyone’s way of life. Although not as much as nearly two decades of quantitative easing following 2008 (per capita GDP is lower today than in 2007).
Enjoy your future mfs
People like that we need.
Taxi drivers who think rape is ok if the victim isn’t a virgin and a load of uber eats delivery drivers we don’t need.
Is that so difficult to understand?
This is not a good campaign strategy. It may be jolly japes to shit on gammons. But we do have an immigration problem, dismissing the problems will get you nowhere, many of them maybe racists but it does not solve the problem.
The state would rather import people than expand our medical schools despite them being vastly over subscribed. We don’t need millions of low wage workers.
People don’t want the rate of change that is occurring.
Seeking asylum in a county when your already safe in France people are coming here illegally because of 5 star hotels and I don’t blame them one bit I would do the same it’s the goverment who has let this happen and the taxpayer funds the bill
You need to be earning roughly £50k to be a net contributor to the tax system so although importing lots of low skilled workers has helped in some ways to keep the economy active. Adding lots more people into the country who are net negatives to tax is part of the reason why our social services and NHS are being stretched thin. Our economy is screwed and immigration has been used in the last 25 years to paper the cracks short term.
as a migrant myself, this doesn’t even make sense. the complaints about migrants aren’t usually related to things that could be changed with a better choice on their part
If an untrained illegal undocumented migrant with questionable English is taking your job, then holy shit you must be cataclysmically abysmal at your job…
