  1. Always hoped to have a tour after it was closed

    Remember it and the Green Mile fondly. Now it’s a baggage area

  2. >The airport states that the rebuilding will enable them to handle an additional 10 million passengers per year, representing a 12% increase in capacity.

    Is that what we want?

    Like. I get the argument of expansion allowing arrivals/departures to be less “tight” and thus more fuel and time efficient. But we don’t actually want more flights, do we? Like, as people of the city/nation.. do we want that?

  3. A bit misleading. HAL want to increase passenger costs to airlines to pay for major expansion, this included, but there has been some backlash over that

  4. Could probably flog off some of the remaining old signage to raise a few bob for charity or whatnot. A lot of aviation anoraks out there.

  5. Did a training exercise here with CT police. Was a fun day

  6. The lack of a terminal 1 continues to annoy me. Renumber the damn terminals

  7. Will the current terminals be renamed?
    3->1, 4->3, 5->4
    Or will they build a new terminal 1 with the third runway?
