  1. I contest the use of the word “unexpectedly”.

  2. Who’d have thought hiking taxes on employers lowers economic growth well i never

  3. Unexpectedly for the metropolitan elite maybe but not anybody else, employers are shedding staff left, right and centre

  4. Nothing unexpected about it. Making employment expensive and raising taxes both stunts and decreases productivity hence why unemployment is up and growth down with gdp flatlining(and gdp per capita, ((which is the most important metric for regular folk)) down). To stimulate growth taxes must be cut, red tape slashed and the pursuit of futile ideological policies(net zero) must be scrapped. Pursuing net zero has devastated the UK and Europe. Energy costs through the roof forces nearly every aspect of life to rise in cost.

  5. I mean what a farce. Unexpected my arse. All politicians who we stupidly vote into power with their mates are the same.

  6. Investment is down because people don’t have faith in Reeves

  7. Hmm. Spuffs tax payers money like fuck, brings in a massive jobs tax…. Why is the economy not booming?

  8. I would feel more confident spending my income on much needed home maintenance if everybody around me wasn’t being made redundant and replaced with offshore resource.
