Taoiseach ‘unaware’ Trinity was offered €2m funding as part of Holohan secondment

  1. It would be good if Mr Watt defended the secrecy in front of the Oireachtas committee, before the relevant people decided if someone who tried to secretly funnel €2m to a colleague from a slush fund of taxpayer’s money is fit to run a department.

  2. Either there is nothing wrong with whatever happened and it is normal in the course of running a department or somebody acted outside of their remit and should be held accountable. Either outcomes are fine but there is no inbetween.

  3. So wait, Trinity get 2 million and Holohan gets a free gig for his CV.

    All at the taxpayers expense.

Who in government was signing this shit off before it got uncovered.

  4. We haven’t changed much from the Haughey times.

Politicians still taking the public for a ride.

How the boss could be “unaware” of this is quite a fantasy.
