Delhi NCR-based online astrology platform AstroTalkAstroTalk Datalabs_in-article-icon is in talks to raise its Series B funding at a unicorn valuation, people aware of the matter told Inc42.

Astrotalk is looking to raise around $50 Mn in the funding round, multiple sources said.
“The startup is in active discussions with several investors and looking to raise the funding at a valuation of around $1.3 Bn to $1.5 Bn,” one of the sources said. The new valuation would be a 4X-5X jump from its previous valuation of around $300 Mn.

The new round will see participation from all existing investors. Astrotalk is also in talks with a few tier I and PE investors to participate in the round.

Astrotalk declined to comment on the development.

As per the sources, the startup reported a revenue of INR 1,200 Cr in FY25, almost double of INR 651 Cr in the previous fiscal year. Net profit surged 2.5X to INR 250 Cr from INR 100 Cr in FY24.

Founded in 2017 by Puneet Gupta and Anmol Jain, Astrotalk earns revenue by levying a fee on customers for consultations offered by astrologers on its platform. In September last year, Astrotalk also forayed into the spiritual ecommerce segment to shore up its revenue.

Earlier this year, the startup appointed Damandeep Singh Soni, former president and CBO of GlobalBees, as the CBO of its ecommerce venture, Astrotalk Store. Before that, the startup appointed former Google executive Siddharth Prakash Singh as its first CTO.

Astrotalk last raised $34 Mn in its Series A funding round from Elev8 Ventures, New York-based Left Lane Capital, QED Innovation Labs, among others. Overall, it has raised a total funding of $xx Mn to date.

Astrotalk competes with the likes of Astroyogi, InstaAstro, Shaadi.com’s AstroChat, among others.
