MAGNA, Utah (KUTV) — Several homes have been evacuated after a car crashed into a building and hit a gas line in Magna.
The crash happened Friday evening near 7400 West and 3100 South.
Captain Tony Barker from the Unified Fire Authority of Greater Salt Lake said the crash caused a leak in natural gas.
There were no reports of injuries.

Crews were on the scene and working to contain the leak.
The incident came less than one week after a three-vehicle crash caused a gas explosion in Herriman.
The center business of a three-unit strip mall was destroyed. Video showed the roof of the Domino’s pizza location blast 20-30 feet into the air.
