Maybe China would buy it at scrap value?
PLA Navy probably could use a 3rd carrier before it invades it’s neighbor.
It has served its purpose of embezzlement of huge amount of funds, making a lot of corrupt Russians rich. Being ‘repaired’ and ‘modernized’ made a lot of money disappear with little noticeable positive effects.
Operationally, it mostly was a big headache for the Russian navy with it being broken down most of the time.
In a sense it is symbolic for the Russian navy. They lack a clear vision, and instead just inherited a lot of old USSR vessels and try to keep them all afloat with mixed results. They would have been way better off if they had ditched a lot of the old USSR vessels and focused on the essential naval capabilities the modern Russia needs.
Instead they cosplay like they are the old USSR navy and have too many too large ships they maintain badly because they have too little men and money to do so. It is a Potemkin fleet, looking impressive on paper but being badly maintained rust buckets in reality. See f.e. The sinking of the Moskva, believed to be sunk by some drones and a few missiles because appearantly most of its radar, AA and point defence systems were defective. And that was their ‘best’ they send into a live war. Makes you wonder in what state the rest of the fleet is in.
