Let lane merges/changes to occur basically. Usually that sign is when two lanes converge and you’re supposed to zipper together. This appears to be a location where lots of cars need to swap lanes and this basically says to allow it and to alternate.
You should let people change into your lane.
It means let people change lanes
“Let others merge”
Let others merge into your lane
I don’t have an answer, but surely looks weird and I’ve never seen them around.
This one is new to me too, but it means you should let others change lanes on the next 300m.
The meaning is known but the execution is impossible Germany. So don’t bother with it.
This sign is German traffic poetry. 😄
It basically means “Merge in turn” – or more literally, “Let others merge.”
The curvy arrows show that three lanes will become one, and all drivers should take turns merging, like a zipper (the Germans even call this the “zipper principle” or Reißverschlussverfahren).
The small sign underneath adds: “for the next 300 meters.”
So: No racing, no cutting in – just polite alternating. Welcome to driving in Germany! 😉
Just like driving on an American highway. Merge from all sides.
This is a guide to correctly decorating your Tannenbaum with string lights. Start from the bottom, progress upwards and around at an angle.
Okay remind me to not drive in Munich
This sign looks like an optical illusion lol
There are two lanes coming from two different directions, which will lead into two different directions.
It will happen that cars coming from the left lane will go to the right lane and vice versa.
This sign means: please allow other traffic to join the lane you are in.
Usually the car staying in the same lane has the right of way. This sign “suggests” that other traffic joining a lane should be accounted for. It doesn’t give them the right of way (judicially speaking), it just tells all drivers: please be polite and allow other traffic to come into your lane even though they don’t have the right of way.
Hope that makes sense?
Since it is in city boundaries i would guess that two lanes converge from different directions and will split again in 300m. so people from the left lane might want to change to the right and vice versa.
Drive slowly and let other cars change lanes in front of you
For the next 300 meters there is a section of road where two roads come together before separating again. Some cars will want to change from the left lane to the right lane and some will change from right to left. The sign explains that you should be aware of that and that you should accommodate lang changing cars.
You figured out all traffic signs in Germany. Well I adore you, never met a person in Germany that actually does. Including drive instructors….
There will be a lot of merging between the lines be going on in the coming 300 metres. Thus the sign is asking people to let each other merge – don’t speed up aggressively and dumbassishly because somebody in front of you is engaging their turn signal – don’t get surprised if there is a lot of braking in front of you – let people in even if you would need to slow down a bit in order to let the traffic flow, al that kind of stuff.
My guess is that at this point two lanes from different directions meet and in 300 metres from that sign disconnect again, thus depending on where you come from and where you want to go, you will have to merge.
Don’t be an ass, let others in.
Closely resembles to a Traffic Cone Obstacle Ahead sign.

The German road sign in the image says:
“Einfädeln lassen” — which translates to “Allow merging” or “Let others merge.”
The sign shows a diagram where multiple lanes are merging into one another in a zigzag or staggered fashion, and drivers are expected to cooperate and take turns merging (zipper merging or “Reißverschlussverfahren”).
The additional sign below says:
“auf 300 m Länge” — meaning “over a distance of 300 meters”, so this merging situation will last for the next 300 meters.
The red-and-white sign with “50” indicates a speed limit of 50 km/h.
In summary:
• Drivers need to let others merge in a cooperative, alternating manner over the next 300 meters.
• Speed must be kept at or below 50 km/h.
This is a clever and very German way of reinforcing road-sharing etiquette!
Quickly hop left and right to dodge infidels
Oh, this one is actually pretty easy. It says that there is laser gun ahead and you need to evade its laser shoots for distance of 300 meters. You probably selected “medium” difficulty, so you have speed restriction of 50 km/h, on “hard” it will be 30, on easy, speed restriction will be missing.
Two lanes coming from end of autobahn and two lanes coming from city, lots of people need to switch lanes. It basically says let people merge in all directions.
It describes how snakes should drive.
Run in a Zig zag pattern mtfkr! 🫠🤯
Welcome to Giesing!
Chaos.
Don‘t be an asshole as usual, let them change lanes.
allow merging
Merging allowed
I’m a German native from Berlin and have never seen that sign. Driving since 2010
I have only this sign in Munich. Munich drivers have a special ‘Rechthaberei’ that probably is pretty frustrating to Berlin drivers who seem to let people in without signs.
