  1. SS:
We explore the shift in China’s stance on Russia’s war in Ukraine, revealing that Beijing may no longer be as neutral as it claims. During recent EU talks, China’s foreign minister reportedly admitted that a Russian defeat would be strategically unfavorable for China, as it could allow the U.S. to focus more on countering Beijing. EU officials are increasingly alarmed, citing evidence that Chinese companies are helping Russia bypass sanctions and supply military goods. We highlight growing tensions between China and the West, and how Beijing’s deeper alignment with Moscow could have global consequences.

  2. Maybe the largest land war in Europe since the Nazis took over should have sparked that alarm.

Surely Europe has unified over this threat and is massively rearming right? Right? They couldn’t be still relying on the US even now. Or are they still dragging their feet even when every single red flag is in their face? Nah, couldn’t be.

  3. China has the opportunity to be friendly with Western countries but it has geopolitically positioned itself as an enemy, and that’s the unfortunate part of this all.

Because of it’s desires to obtain Taiwan, it has inherently made itself into an aggressor state in the Pacific and puts itself in direct line of conflict with the US. Therefore it needs Russia to take attention away so when it makes the move on Taiwan it is not the sole conflict happening globally.

All this can be resolved by simply letting go of the desire of capturing Taiwan. Quite frankly, I think this national pride for Taiwan is the most incredibly stupid thing to do for a technocratic nation. It could put it on a path for national suicide in the way that Russia basically put itself on a path of national suicide (and as did the US with Trump).

  4. yeah, but the big problem is. Europe will do shit against it. Will not bring key industries home etc.

Sure. our military industry will get a lot of money, but so will their shareholders. We need some form nationalization (eu isation actually) of key industries, but this does not work since EU are free market hooligans.

and people need to own shit again, the young generation will not fight for this Europe where they pay most of their income for rent and stuff.
