The sanctions will get more devastating with time. Russians are in hell of a ride. They already have to pay their debts in rubles.

It’s not “years” – it’s more like “generations”.
The consumer market is going back into 1970s – without Pepsi, without McDonalds, without Western cars and electronics – and with an imaginative ruble exchange rate. Back then Soviet engineers received salaries enough to purchase just a single pair of Levi’s jeans per month.
