When SCOTUS declared the president King, Biden didn’t have half of scotus sent to black sites and replace them with sane justices.

I keep seeing people see “2024 was the last free and fair election!” but why do people keep assuming it was free and fair? I’m sure plenty of people voted for him, but I’ve had a lot more people in my life confirm a sheepish, fearful vote for Kamala to avoid the ire of Trump supporters, than I have Trump supporters vocally confirm a vote for Trump. I truly believe that voter suppression and vote manipulation won out over sheer hatred.
Surely if the next one is going to be corrupted, the previous one could have been too.

Aside from Trump and his acolytes saying they would do ***EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO***, why would they think giving a petty, mentally deficient man child executive power was going to be a good idea?
Like, just disregard all the other things Trump said he was 100% going to do in 2023-2024. The dude is a straight up asshole. He does terrible things. Says and does terrible things to and about women, minorities, friends, enemies, people he doesn’t know, the list goes on.
Why would it be good to give him the most important and powerful job in the fucking world?
My only conclusion that I’ve come to is the realization that a massive chunk of Americans must be fucking morons. Like nearly too stupid to breathe.
These people don’t even think a day ahead of tomorrow. People that don’t mind defunding things like national weather, take it for granted. Yeah let’s see you plan your work week not knowing when it’ll rain/snow/be cloudy, or hot/cold. I’m sure it’ll work out fine.
