Big mistake.
Guess the Royal family is now ok with their personal lives once again being shared with the public for money.
“Secret” lol 😂 whatever hopefully W&K are kept away from this mess. Good luck to Charles bcoz Harry is not trustworthy at all and he will get stabbed in the back at the first opportunity something doesn’t go Harry’s way .
Well he and Megan said there was a racist in the royal family and wouldn’t say who it was.
Where is the courage in that?
Huge mistake to trust those two. I feel awful for the King. But his youngest son is now lost. There is no hope and it seems at least William knows that.
If I were Chuck I’d openly say things around H&M like “I love pink frilly panties!” And “I can’t stop thinking about how sad it it is that Girls Aloud broke up” and see how quickly it’s published in People magazine.
They met in public….now all can claim that an attempt was made to heal the breach. Doubt that anything substantial will arise from the meeting.
There might be some kind of personal reconciliation between Charles and Harry in the future because both parties want to make peace while Charles is still living. But I’m skeptical that this meeting means anything more than that. Charles will die at some point and William will be king and from what I can tell, William has zero intention of reconciling with Harry. So idk maybe while Charles is alive he might score invites to Balmoral or Sandringham Christmas but after that, Harry will go right back to being on the outside.
This will never work. All sides are way too addicted to leaking nasty stories about one another.
And, it shows how much this is all just a PR gambit on all sides. If you have a falling out with a family member, you don’t have your employees work it out for you.
If this does happen, it’s all 100% going to be for show.
It’s all really quite sad.
Before his cancer treatment, I really thought Charles should have just come to the USA and had a private visit with Harry and family. No leaking of all the details. No staged photo ops. That’s how you’d actually start to mend the rift. Now due to his treatment, Charles really can’t be away for any length of time.
Charles can reconcile with Harry but it’s fairly certain William (and probably the rest of the family?) will not. I can’t see them ever doing so, honestly.

Both sides did with full knowledge of the other side, IMO.
They’re testing the waters and agreed to brief the press about it to see how people reacted.
I hope they’re able to work through their shit. Harry clearly loves his family even if he acts wild sometimes
Reading this makes me so happy. Royal or not, they’re family in a very difficult situation.
This is nice. Family reunifications are nice to read about when it’s what everyone wants
It’s good to reconcile with family. Next, Meghan and Harry can reach out to her dad. What will Harry call this return flight?
And, does everyone agree that they would not be interested in reconciliation except that they lost their security battle and there are reports that they may be struggling money wise.
I wonder if the “reconciliation” going on here would be similar to what happened to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Limited contact with the family but not open enmity. Because I highly doubt that William and Catherine will ever consider Meghan and Harry family again especially as the two of them were worst hit when compared to the already unpopular Charles and Camilla.
I hope they reconcile and have a chance to spend more time together as father and son, even if it’s just the two of them. Time is a gift. And Charles may not have a lot of years left. As stuffy as Charles is, I’m sure he misses Harry. The scent of your children and feel of their bodies, never leave you as a parent. And even as adults, if we were loved, we carry with us the same feeling towards our aging parents, and after they pass away.
That being said, I don’t see Harry and William reconciling. The bond is different for siblings than a parent and child.
Family drama sucks. Period. Doesn’t matter if it’s you or a public figure leading an ancient institution. Hope they patch things up.
To me this is a sign Charles is sicker than we think. And this will help any animosity die down before the funeral, so that Harry can enter the country without it causing a national issue.
Why did Charles call the paps?
Jeez, people are putting so much stock into Charles’ and Harry’s *aides* meeting. Harry met up with Charles in person after hearing his cancer diagnosis and the needle didn’t seem to move at all. I expect a leek about how the meeting went in a day or two and make some judgements then.
This was a mutual leaking. None of the people on the balcony are brand new. They knew what would happen and in fact likely encouraged it. They are out in the sun with full suits on when it was almost 30 degrees outside.

Maybe just stop being royalty so you don’t have to fight over pointless nonsense anymore? Family is more important than some contemporarily meaningless title.
As someone who is mostly neutral in the Sussex Wars, man oh man, both sides will lose their fucking minds if Meghan and Harry go back.
“Secret meeting” but on the patio of a pub??
It’s clear that both sides wanted the public to know about this meeting (they would have done it behind closed doors or refused the meeting if the other side insisted otherwise). My question then is why. What are both sides getting out of doing this publicly instead of privately? A few things come to mind:
– The British Royal Family/Sussex feud is the only thing a lot of press is talking about, distracting people from the different endeavors that both sides do
– Similarly, the feud cheapens both of their brands, as rather than being seen as the epitome of grace and duty, people are willing to, either fairly or unfairly, openly mock them
– On the other side of things, a story of reconciliation will drive out (temporarily) stories of bad business practices/slumlord royals/why isn’t a cancer survivor working more
– On top of that, “The Sussexes and the BRF being cordial but separate” doesn’t have the same ring as “War of the Wales 2.0”, so those stories will (hopefully) reduce when there’s nothing to fan the flames with
– There has been some recent health developments, so they want to prime the public for seeing the Sussexes around in the future
Regardless of the reason why, I’m pretty sure this meeting was mainly for the public’s benefit. If there was a reconciliation, then I’m sure it was private and already happened.
Maybe they are just friends or lovers and it’s not about their bosses at all. It’s enemies to lovers
Leaking it to the press isn’t the way to reconciliation.
A top secret meeting that was so secret that it was in full public view, in broad daylight on a balcony, with a majority of the participants practically waving to the cameras and is now on the front page of a newspaper.
Also, in my opinion the fact that the article stated that the PR lady reported back to Harry and referred to the Sussex’s as having a household means H & M leaked it. They’re the only ones who have reason too, with the recent reports of their money troubles.
