  6. You would think that Irish people and Indigenous Canadian people would be able to relate to Israelis more than anyone. They got ethnically cleansed from their traditional territory, lost their language, then in the 1890s or thereabouts the LANDBACK movement started and they started resurrecting their language at the same time. Now Israelis have the most successful Indigenous land claim and language revitalization project of all time, an incredible model for Indigenous peoples everywhere.
