Romania’s hospitals overwhelmed with unvaccinated patients

  1. I remember reading Romanians in Italy and some European countries have pretty high vax rate though – is distrust of government in Romania really that bad or are Romanians overseas more insulated from conspiracy theories?

  2. I’m really getting sick of “distrust of authority / legacy of dictatorship” BS I keep hearing in articles about Romania and Bulgaria. Every country in the former soviet bloc had a toxic relationship with their government and could have the same excuse. Yet it is not happening in every country to the same level as these two. People are sheep, they do what the current authorities tell them. This is lack of leadership, pure and simple, coupled with weaponized propaganda on social media.
