20% of Brits Will Be Eating Vegan and Vegetarian This Christmas, Poll Finds

  1. A survey of 2000 people, by a company that doesn’t even cover two thirds of the population of the UK is hardly representative.

  2. I was about to make fun of their cuisine, but it looks like it’s just a bullshit article. So i’ll just heavily doubt it and move on.

  3. I read that as “20% of Brits Will Be Eating Vegans This Christmas” and thought “Damn, Brexit’s worse than I could possibly have imagined”.

  4. What a load of horseshit. Methinks this is another example of a “poll” designed to lead the public to an opinion and manner of behaviour, rather than to determine such.

Besides, I’ll be stuffing my piggy little face with turkey, goose, pheasant, beef, pork, etc for all 12 days of Yuletide and there’s FUCKING NOTHING any of the sprout-bothering clowns involved in that survey can do to stop me.

  5. Bollocks, 20 percent of people who took the poll. Given the types of people who take these polls it’s unreliable data. The deliveroo Poll is not reliable in the slightest. Would be great if this was actually going to be the case. 20 percent of lazy fuckers who can’t even be arsed cooking diner Christmas, yeah probably true.

  6. 20% sounds high but i bet it’s not far off. 10-15% of the country is already vegetarian and i know a couple of people who are getting “nut roasts” because one or two of their family are vegan/tarians and it’s easier to keep everything meat free.

  7. I’ve started doing more meat free meals over the last few years, but Xmas dinner is not the time for it in my household. Good luck to all those trying it though.

  8. I just found out my mother has been vegetarian for about four years. This must be the first time a vegetarian has gone that long without telling everyone about it.
