My friend brought a bag of chocolates from Hungary (I live in Israel), but I can’t seem to find the expiration date. Does Hungary uses a code I’m not familiar with? I’ve looked everywhere.
P.S. I’m aware this was actually produced in Israel, but it isn’t sold here.
it should be on the edge of the bag where it is glued together. it is pressed into the bag not printed on
It will be bad once Pesach is over.
Chag Sameach!
It’s there, it expired 704 years ago. If you can’t find any other date anywhere else, then it means it never expires.
Ask in r/agyhalalutanisvanelet sub
Just eat it if it doesnt taste bad.
This is not a product sold in Hungary. All food sold in Hungary must have a Hungarian list of ingredients (at least a sticker or something).
Your friend bought you a pack of chocolates in Israel and tole you the were Hungarian.
Chocolate does’t really expire, maybe the coconut filling? I’m sure this will be good for at least half a year if it was made recently.
**Update:** I asked Elite in facebook and they said the number “1318” is 1=the year (2021) and 318=the day in the year it was made (November 4th). They also said it’s good for a year from there.
